The Ngāti Manuhiri Settlement Trust Support Super Saturday

Protect your whakapapa and get vaccinated this Super Saturday!

The Trustees, advisors, staff, and whānau of the Ngāti Manuhiri Settlement Trust are proud to be 100% vaccinated and encourage our membership, wider whānau, whānaunga, and community to get vaccinated this Saturday 16 October 2021 as part of the Government's "Super Saturday" vaccine drive.

Free travel for all vaccination appointments

Auckland Transport is getting behind the push to get Aucklanders fully vaccinated.

Mayor Phil Goff says while it has been free to travel by bus or train to get vaccinated for some weeks, it is now even easier to do so.

“Ahead of the upcoming Super Saturday vaccine day on Saturday 16 October, Aucklanders travelling by bus or train to get vaccinated will no longer need to tag on or show a vaccine appointment,” he says.

“All you have to do is mask up, scan the NZ COVID Tracer QR code and let the driver or transport officer know you’re travelling to or from a vaccination, and you’ll be able to travel for free.

“It’s about removing as many barriers as possible to help everyone get vaccinated as we continue to strive to increase our vaccination numbers.”

Auckland Transport Chief Executive Shane Ellison says you can travel free on AT Metro buses and trains for both your first and second shot.

“AT is backing the government campaign to get as many of us vaccinated as possible. It’s important we all do our bit, we want to make it easy for Aucklanders to get the jab."

“All you have to do is tell the driver, gate-line staff or transport officer that you are travelling to get a vaccination.”
